About the Journal
JOENAT: Journal of Education and Applied Technology is an international peer peer-reviewed and open-access journal in Education and Applied Technology. The journal provides a platform for scholars, educators, and practitioners to share insights, empirical studies, and theoretical advancements that contribute to the enhancement of learning through technology. JOENAT aims to advance the understanding, development, and implementation of innovative educational technologies and instructional models across diverse learning environments and educational levels.
The scopes of the journal:
Educational Research and Innovation covers curriculum design and development and instructional design, learning theories, classroom practices, and educational assessment, teacher training and professional development, innovative teaching methods/models/approach, and comparative education. Applied Technology in Education includes e-learning, blended learning, hybrid and distance learning environments, digital platforms and tools (e.g., learning management systems, artificial intelligence, augmented/virtual reality), gamification, game-based learning, and immersive environments, educational media, digital content development, and open educational resources (OER), as well as new technologies in teaching and learning and teaching/learning materials innovation and development. Education Management and Learning Contexts focus on digital transformation in educational institutions, policy studies on technology adoption in education, educational management supported by technology, learning in both formal and informal settings, integration of education, technology, and industry 4.0/5.0 practices, local-culture based education, international education, and teacher education.
